Sparks fly when your youngster rides the Razor Spark Scooter. It's not a detachable Spark Bar to light up their ride. Razor's model has 5 flint pads and includes a bonus spark cartridge, giving lots more flicker than other brands. Like all other Razors, it's built of aircraft grade aluminum so it can take tons of abuse. The Spark Razor is ages 8 and up.

Can You Believe Razor Scooters Have Been Around For 12 Years? Kids Love Them

Razor Scooter Riding Toys have been a favorite outdoor toy for over 14 years. I remember getting my daughter one when they first were introduced and she played with it forever. All her friends had them and they spent hours outside racing up and down the block. She even rode it to school. Well that little girl has graduated from college this year, but Razor Scooters are as popular as they were back then.

Since then the variety has greatly expanded. There are Razor Scooters specifically for very young children now, and for older kids, and there are lots of new designs and styles. And I'm not even talking about all of the motorized choices that now exist. All from that one basic design that almost looked like somebody took a skateboard and stuck a handlebar on the front. Boy I wish I had invented them.

I've featured some of the more basic versions of the Razor Scooter Riding Toys in this website. They're inexpensive and a great way to encourage kids to play outdoors and get some fresh air and exercise. Before you send them out though, please remember the helmets and safety gear.
